Lydian Augmented #2 Family of Chords:

I+ chord =        Ab augmented    (4 note chord = Ab major 7th sharp 5th)
iio chord =       B diminished      (4 note chord = B diminished 7th)
III chord =        C major             (4 note chord = C major 7th)
ivo chord =       D diminished      (4 note chord = D minor 7th flat 5th)
v chord =          E minor             (4 note chord = E minor 7th)
vi chord =         F minor             (4 note chord = F minor major 7th)
VII chord =       G major             (4 note chord = G dominant 7th)

WS+HS, HS, WS, WS, HS, WS, HS,
Notes are: Ab, B, C, D, E, F, G, Ab

Now record (or have a friend play) these common Lydian Augmented #2 progressions 5 to 10 minutes each and live (or on another track) play the Lydian Augmented #2 (C Harmonic Major) scale using quarter then eighth notes.

3. vi //// iio //// III //// VII //// ivo //// vi //// VII //// 

4. I+ //// v //// vi //// III //// VII ////

Now transpose these to each position (register) of your instrument, then to all 15 keys.
