Lydian Diminished Family of Chords:

i chord =         F minor              (4 note chord = F minor major 7th)
II chord =        G major             (4 note chord = G dominant 7th)
III+ chord =     Ab augmented    (4 note chord = Ab major 7th sharp 5th)
ivo chord =      B diminished      (4 note chord = B diminished 7th)
V chord =        C major             (4 note chord = C major 7th)
vio chord =      D diminished      (4 note chord = D minor 7th flat 5th)
vii chord =       E minor             (4 note chord = E minor 7th)

WS, HS, WS+HS, HS, WS, WS, HS,
Notes are: F, G, Ab, B, C, D, E, F

Now record (or have a friend play) these common Lydian Diminished progressions 5 to 10 minutes each and live (or on another track) play the Lydian Diminished (C Harmonic Major) scale using quarter then eighth notes.

2. i //// vio //// II //// V ////

3. i //// vii //// vio //// V ////

4. III+ //// i //// II //// V //// 

5. io //// ivo //// vio //// V //// 

6. i //// ivo //// III+ //// II //// V /////



Now transpose these to each position (register) of your instrument, then to all 15 keys.
