Mixolydian b9 Family of Chords:

I chord =         G major              (4 note chord = G dominant 7th)
II+ chord =      Ab augmented     (4 note chord = Ab major 7th sharp 5th)
iiio chord =     B diminished       (4 note chord = B diminished 7th)
IV chord =       C major             (4 note chord = C major 7th)
vo chord =       D diminished      (4 note chord = D minor 7th flat 5th)
vi chord =        E minor             (4 note chord = E minor 7th)
vii chord =       F minor             (4 note chord = F minor major 7th)

HS, WS+HS, HS, WS, WS, HS, WS
Notes are: G, Ab, B, C, D, E, F, G

Now record (or have a friend play) these common Mixolydian b9 progressions 5 to 10 minutes each and live (or on another track) play the Mixolydian b9 (C Harmonic Major) scale using quarter then eighth notes.

2. I //// vi //// vii //// IV ////

3. I //// iiio //// IV //// vo //// vii //// IV //// vii //// IV //// I ////

4. II+ //// vo //// I //// vi //// vii //// IV //// I ////

Now transpose these to each position (register) of your instrument, then to all 15 keys.
